Apply Now for SCYC's Youth Leadership Council Grant

Youth Leadership Council is a program of School Community Youth Collaborative (SCYC) which promotes community engagement and leadership among Montezuma County youth. SCYC has partnered with YouthRoots, a national youth philanthropy organization. As part of this program, students use the experiential classroom of philanthropy to learn leadership and change-making skills. Students identify the biggest issues facing youth in Montezuma County, learn to raise funds and awareness around those issues, and grant 100% of their raised funds to organizations working to address those issues. The students realize there are many issues to address in their community and this is their way of doing it. This year’s Youth Leadership Council is now accepting grant proposals for youth services in the following funding areas: Cost of Living, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Concerns

Please see our Request for Applications for more information!

Support Youth with Generosity

You have the chance to support after-school activities for all kids, regardless of socioeconomic background. Here at SCYC, we believe that every child deserves to explore their interests and pursue their passions, regardless of financial means.

That's why we are launching an end-of-year donation drive to sponsor an extra 10 students for free after-school activities. It costs 2,000 per student per year for access to extracurricular programs and clubs. One donation can make a difference in the lives of many.

THANK YOU!

At School Community Youth Collaborative, we want to express our gratitude to the kind and generous donors who make our work possible.

Without their contributions, we wouldn't be able to provide our programs and services to the many youth in our community who need them. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us make a positive difference in the lives of so many young people!
