Board Secretary

Biography

Stephanie relocated to the area in 2008 from San Diego. She recently bought her first home in Mancos and is enjoying peaceful country living. She worked in wilderness therapy for seven years before becoming a youth advocate at La Plata Youth Services, a non-profit organization in Durango. She recently received her Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico Highlands University. Stephanie loves supporting youth discover their own unique way of being in the world. She enjoys anything that gets her outside especially when it’s with her amazing dog, Luna (aka Looney tunes). She loves mountain biking, laughing out loud, creating art, spending time with family and friends, and she never passes up an opportunity to explore the open road.
