This is a temporary, full-time service learning opportunity. The summer associate will work with youth 5-18 years of age for more than half the time. They will work with the three different agencies above over a 10-week period. Please contact the recruitment coordinator (see below) for a full job description.Summer Associates earn a modest living stipend of $2,718 and an education award of $1,222.
Please send a one-page letter of interest and three references to Rita Stramel at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon (MST) on April 27. (Accepted formats are PDF, .doc, and .docx.) The letter should address previous work/experience with youth (if any), specific leadership skills you possess, and a paragraph about an adventure you have had in the last year. It should be written in formal language and conform to business letter format. Please include a telephone number and e-mail address for each reference, as well as best times to reach each individual. No letters of reference are required.
